CCCB week 19 "I see stars"

Good morning! After 3 days with lots of rain there is a little bit of sun here....But it's still a bit chill; fall is definitely around the corner....And now this weeks challenge over HERE at CCCB.This week it's all about stars; the photo inspiration is based on the works fof one of the most famous painters here from the Netherlands: Vincent van Gogh. I love his work; in Amsterdam (our capital city) you'll find the van Gogh museum; they have spectacular collection with all his famous paintings. If you ever come to the Netherlands it's something you must see. You won't regret it!Here is the photo inspiration:

I made a card in blue.,white, silver and of course a star.Blue is the ink I used for my stamps, white for the card base, embossed background, die cut label and lace.Silver for my star and the sentiment is heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I added the sentiment "Smile" with the idea that the recipient is going to smile at the moment he/she looks…

For a very special friend.....

I made a card for a very special friend. Blue is my favorite color. The combination with white turned out beautiful.I  am so happy with the final result. Well that's my opinion......and I would love to hear what you think of it....

Scroll and ornament stamp are both from Viva Decor; the sentiment is from Flourishes. I've used one color for all my stamping; Atlantic Blue archival dye ink pad from Color Box. The polka dotted paper is from Crea Motion ; self adhesive paper ribbon from Xenos. Ribbon from my stash. The tag is made with a one of my Cuttlebug dies. I also used one of my Martha Stewart border punches.
Have a wonderful day!Stella

CCCB week #18 Isn't she lovely

There is a new challenge at the City Crafter Challenge Blog. And it's a gorgeous one! This weeks theme is "Isn't she lovely". Oooh I remember that sweet song of Stevie Wonder..........Here is the photo inspiration:

Isn't she cute?????
I made a card with an old nostalgic image. here in the Netherlands young girls are having a "poëzie-album". If I translate this it's called "poetry-album". When you're a young girl you give this book to your girlfriends, family etc and they can write a rhyme, wish and that kind of things in it. When you are writing something in an album you add some cute images. Well this is one of those images you could use. I still have mine; it's so sweet and cute to read in it.....
Here is my card:
I used my favorite Papermania papers "Rose Garden". The image is a die cut from my stash.Embossed chipboard from Tattered Angels, ribbon from my stash.I bought the ruffled lace and the roses on a market here in the…
