CCCB # 37 "Stamp it out"

Hello again :)
My second post for today; I made a card for this weeks' challenge at the City Crafter Challenge Blog This week it's all about stamping! No digi.....
I love to create my own background paper so I used one of my favorite background stamps from Darkroom Door (Floral). I am addicted to that stamp did you know that? I love the result; in every color of ink you can think of!
Here is a piece of my background; stamped with Bamboo Leaves from Tsukineko. I added a little butterfly with a sentiment. I tried 7 different colors for the sentiment but nothing seemed perfect. I grabbed the same green ink and now I am happy with the result. I distressed the edges of the butterfly with Bundled Sage distress ink.

I got these stunning papers from Jacqueline. She was looking for a stamp from a Dutch brand I sent her the stamps. Then we agreed she sent me some craft papers. And to be honest..she didn't sent some papers...she spoilt me with a lot of gorgeous papers and in the upcoming…

CCCB #35 and Waltzingmouse #28

Hello everyone,
It's Saturday and one week to go before.....Christmas. I did some shopping and now it's time for a challenge. In fact; two challenges!!
I immediately knew what I wanted to make for this weeks' challenge at the  City Crafter Challenge Blog. For this weeks' challenge you MUST include kraft cardstock. That was easy peasy because I decides to make a gift card envelope and I used this cute  kraft envelope:

This envelope is also the perfect base for this weeks'challenge at the Waltzingmouse sketch challenge blog
Here is their sketch:

Here we go!
I  slightly inked the top of the envelop with white ink and added some more white ink on the edges. I also prettied up the inside;  seeing the back of a doily is a bit boring isnt it? :) I added a sentiment '(Heirloom Ornaments stamp set from Waltzingmouse), distressed it a bit and added a felt flower, a rhinestone and a butterfly.

I covered the front with papers from Melissa Frances and added a little ornament i had…

CCCB # 34 "Let it snow"

Hello everyone,
How are you all doing? Probably just a busy as I am.... I haven't been in blogland for a few days and I have to visit your blogs. I'm looking forward to it; it's always fun to visit you all! The last few days were very busy. Too busy..... Now I have some time for blogging and to post my car for my favorite challenge: The City Crafter Challenge Blog
I love to play along in their challenges and every week it's fun to play along! And this weeks'challenge is right up my alley; just like the previous one :)
The challenge is all about snow. Create any project (card, layout, altered item, decor) with some kind of image of snow on it, whether it be snow or a snowflake or a snowman or snowlady.

I made another Christmas card; I stll have to make a few.....
I have a place in my heart for polka dot ribbon. The die cut is from Graphic 45. Papers from Cosmo Cricket.

And of course a snowflake; I just had to add this brad..... and a bow. First time for me to use 2 separat…

CCCB #33 "Blue Christmas"

Hello everyone,
Here I am again; 2nd post for today...... It's freezing cold here; perfect to stay inside and make some cards :)
This weeks'challenge at the City Crafter Challenge Blog is right up my alley....:) Blue is my favorite color and I think I might enter this challenge more than once. I love love love blue! This the gorgeous photo inspiration:

I made a card with papers from my stash. Cut out an ornament and a tag with my Spellbinders dies  ( Heirloom Ornaments and Labels Four)
I'm sorry for the blurry pictures but I couldn't get them any better....

Both sentiments are from Waltzingmouser stamps. ( Complements of the Season) One stamped with Atlantic Blue from Color Box and the other one stamped with Versamark and heat-embossed with white embossing powder from Zing. The little snowflakes are also stamped with Atlantic Blue. Ribbon and lace from my stash. I used one of my MS border punches, a corner punch from Pipoos and added a die cut from Crafty Secrets.
