Almost a silver wedding aniversary

Tomorrow one of my sisters - Jacqueline - and her husband are celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary. I made a card for them which turned out to be a perfect match with this weeks' challenge at the Shabby Tea Room
Based upon neutrals:

I made every piece of the card myself.. I stamped the background with a floral stamp from Darkroom Door in Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder An embossed heart made from kraft paper; after cutting and embossing the heart I rubbed it white ink. The flower is made from satin fabric and I glued some pearls in the center. I also cut a scalloped  square out of cardboard with my Spellbinders label one and painted it with white craft paint.

The banners are made of ribbon and the borders are made with a  border punch (cut from an old book page) and and a border die (cut of vanilla cardstock)

A few silver pearls and some ink around the is my card:

Have a great day; till soon! Stella X

CCCB #120 Solid as a rock

I had to play along with this weeks' challenge at the City Crafter Challenge Blog.
You have to use solid color on your project, which means, no patterned paper, however, you are allowed to  use other mediums and/or embellishment items. Right up my alleye.

A perfect opportunity to use an embossing that was sent to me by Ros. ( More about her package soon:)...)
Two tiny silver pearls to dress up the sentiment a bit:

A die cut sent to me by Pauline. I made another felt flower and added a pearl to the center; cut and embossed the leafs and inked them up with white ink:

Here is my card you can see why I LOVE that embossing folder:

Have a great Sunday! Stella X
