It has been a busy week and now it's already Sunday afternoon.  At this time of the year the weeks and weekends are gone before I know it... Just popping in to share two cards  A birthday card  and a Christmas card.

For a birthday girl; she's the girlfriend of one of my nephews.  And celebrated her 21st birthday recently:

This cutie was made with a card kit from Bij Oma Dee. Miranda and her DT are amazing. And are making fab kits.   The latest kit is based upon the "Oh Deer"collection from Fancy Pants.  I made this card:

City Crafter Challenge #239

It's Tuesday again and that means a new challenge here at CCCB. This week Char is our host and her theme is about `Technique` Create a card or project using your favorite technique;  and tell us about your technique in your post.

This week Gerjanne will be our Guest Designer;
she is a very creative and talented paper crafter.
You can find her blog here.
The technique I used is heat embossing. It's always fun and a bit of magic to see how a sentiment or image
 pops up when you use your heat tool.  A bit of vellum and papers in an almost graphic design:

Little splashes of color and I am pleased with the almost transparent look:

The winner of this weeks challenge will be offered a Guest Design spot. I am looking forward to see you what your favorite technique is.  Hop over to our blog from more inspiration of our Guest Designer and the other team members.
Thanks for stopping by! Stella

Our Guest Designer this week is Karolina Her blog is filled to the brim with gorgeous cards.

For my first card I choose neutrals and a touch of silver.
(Yes I made two cards :)....)

Due to a clouded day with loads of rain you can hardly see  the sparkle of silver in that twine or the rhinestones I added....

For my second card I used a few strips of patterned paper and a sequin stamp that I LOVE:

It was wonderful to be with my sister and  we were back home yesterday evening. Today I have been working on a few cards.  There are more cards coming but they are not finished yet.  And I can only take photos during the weekend.  When I am back home from work it's already dark.
I am making cards from a kit from Cards and Wishes.  I won a give away and here is the first card:
