Practice, and more practice :)

Hello!
Today I am sharing two cards trying out my new markers and work on my colouring skills. Impressed and inspired by a few very talented friends I have to give it a try. I bought a first set of Stampin'Up markers and here are the first results.   The stamps are from Lawn Fawn: "Gleeful Gardens"
I don't know how it happend but the stem of the biggest mushroom is bit crinkly :(

I am still pleased with the first results:

I also used a blender ben and an ink pad to colour the stem and leafs of my flower

There is still so much to learn but it's fun to do!

Thanks for stopping by!Stella

I came up with Gesso and it turned
out a card a bit different as usual:

I covered a piece of corrugated cardboard with gesso.And added leafs cut from vellum
I bought that toothpick flag last year... Well let's say I rediscovered some purchases I forgot about:) Topped off with a buttefly in pale pink:

Hello!
I  hope you all had a good Easter weekend.
I am back after being away due to a nasty cold.It kept me from blogging; not much energyand not feeling great...
But I am back to cardmaking and had to playalong at the current challengeat CAS(E) this Sketch

On this card I used a bit of patterned paper that I have been hoarding a few years ago. But it's time to use it so I did :)

I love this floral pattern, sweet but not too sweet.And added a sentiment in dark blue cardstock.A bit of twine as a finishing touch:

Hello!
How are you?It's already Wednesday evening;
two days to go before it's weekend:)
After a few chilly weeks we had a sunny day and
the weather forecast is quite nice.
I just had it with frost in the morning, wind
and loads and loads of rain......
Enough rambling; on to my card!The current challenge at CAS(E) this sketch is right up my alleye:)

I gave it a bit of a twist and made my first Christmas card for 2016.Very CAS and lots of white cardstock;
my very favorite to use:)I stamped the stars in a subtle shade of grey (Soft Stone) from PTI

 I added a bit of texture with an embossing folder, a tiny wooden star and one of my favorite sentiment dies from PTI:

 and she picked the theme:

I used a pillowbox. I cut it last December
when I was crafting with my eldest sister:

My intention was to use it as a gift card holder forChristmas but back home I never finished it.
And after cleaning my craft room I also wanted to clean my desk:)And this box was still there. I covered it with a strip of patterned paper and added a layered sentiment:

Here is my giftcard box:
